Short Bio
Carli B. Webb is a mother of three, a keynote speaker, recording artist, and Registered Nurse who helps women move from performing a life they never chose into hearing the voice within and telling themselves the truth, and who guides them through healing the nervous system that carried it all. Her work, on stage and on record, explores what it costs to ask for the truth and why it is worth it anyway. She released her first EP, “No More Pretending,” eight songs written over five years, and has spent 23 years in nursing, caring for people at every level of circumstance, from heads of state and professional athletes to the beautiful blue collar workers who build the foundation of our infrastructure and our economy. Based in Houston, Texas.
Long Bio
Carli B. Webb is a mother of three, a keynote speaker, recording artist, and Registered Nurse whose work lives at the intersection of nervous system science, music, and the truths women find before, during, and after an identity crisis.
Her keynotes are grounded in 23 years of clinical practice, in motherhood, and in creativity, delivered as a full sensory experience: story, an original live song, and the language of an album she wrote to survive her own collapse. She draws on her journey out of a life built entirely on other people’s expectations, on aspects of religion and culture and much more, including a pivotal discovery at 41. She learned she was truly allowed to ask for the truth, something nobody had told her in four decades, and that asking would cost her the marriage, the family, the friends, and every comfort she was used to having.
Across 23 years in nursing she has practiced across multiple states, learning under physicians in internal medicine, pediatric and adult home health, orthopedics, and infertility medicine, holding leadership and management positions, and working the insurance side of healthcare. She has cared for people at every level of circumstance, from heads of state and professional athletes to the beautiful blue collar workers who build the foundation of our infrastructure and our economy. She has sat with people at the height of their power and with people who had almost nothing, and she came away certain of one thing. There is no hierarchy in the soul. Every person matters, every voice matters, and what a person wants matters.
Carli has spoken and performed for Premise Health's Annual Corporate Leadership Meeting, the Champions Rising women's business event, and the WOW Church Conference, and has been featured in Houston Voyager and on podcasts including Soul Secrets, The Healist, and Evolve or Repeat. Her first EP, “No More Pretending,” eight songs written over five years, is streaming on Spotify and Apple Music. She leads Reclaim Her classes, works one to one with women in midlife, is hosting a women's retreat in Spain in March 2027, and is writing her first book. Based in Houston, Texas.
Introduction
For the host to read aloud before Carli takes the stage.
Full introduction, about 55 seconds
Somewhere in this room is a woman who has spent years being exactly who everyone needed her to be. She has gotten very good at it. She has also forgotten what she actually feels.
Our next speaker was that woman for 22 years.
At 41, she asked for the truth. It cost her the marriage. The family as she knew it. The friends. Every comfort she had. What she got back was a voice she had hidden since she was six years old.
Then she did something radical with it. In the middle of an identity crisis she was certain she would not survive, she wrote an eight song album, because she needed to hear what she felt, and to say it out loud. An audience of one.
She is going to sing one of those songs today. I would tell you when, but she does it right at the moment the story breaks open.
Here is what women say to her afterward, again and again. I never had language for my own story until now.
That is what she does. Please welcome Carli B. Webb.
Onstage introduction, about 40 seconds
Our next speaker spent 22 years being exactly who everyone needed her to be. She found her way back through a walking meditation, a memory of a six year old who sang in secret, eight songs written over five years, and, of all places, the floor of her own bedroom. She is a keynote speaker, recording artist, and a Registered Nurse of 23 years who has cared for people at every level of circumstance, from heads of state and professional athletes to the beautiful blue collar workers who build our infrastructure, and who wrote an entire album for an audience of one. Herself. She is here today because she believes you are allowed to ask for the truth. Please welcome Carli B. Webb.

- How to recognize a life you are performing instead of living

The work Carli does when she is not on a stage, and the reason her talks are not theory.
